For the animated brand film of Ovation Guitars, I created 3D visual sequences that bring to life the story of material innovation, sound engineering, and the unique form of the Roundback guitar. Developed in the 1960s by aerospace engineers, the Lyrachord body marked a radical break from traditional tonewoods – both structurally and acoustically. The animation visualizes this crossover between science and music through fluid transitions, material-focused textures and motion-driven storytelling. The result is a tribute to a brand that defies convention and continues to craft instruments at the intersection of precision, durability and sonic warmth.
